My Approach

Based in the heart of Richmond, Surrey, my portrait photography is inspired by the beauty of the natural world. My photographs are taken using natural light, in peaceful, tranquil surroundings - a favourite beauty spot, a local park, or the intimacy of a home or garden.

Before I start taking photos, I spend time getting to know you and your family. With children, I often start by asking them about their favourite games and clothes - and how they like to have fun. Sometimes I structure the session around a particular activity. At other times we just take a leisurely stroll, and see what develops. At the end of the day, the photographs will bring lasting memories, and your personalities will shine through the images.
